ker Peta direktiva Komisije 74/203/EGS z dne 25. marca 1974 o določitvi analitskih metod Skupnosti za uradni nadzor krme [8], kakor je bila nazadnje spremenjena z Direktivo 81/680/EGS [9], določa analitske metode za določanje škroba in razkrojnih produktov škroba visoke molekulske mase v krmi, ki vsebujejo koščke ali pulpo repe, posušene repne glave ali liste, krompirjevo pulpo, suhi kvas, proizvode z visoko vsebnostjo inulina ali ocvirkov, amproliuma, etopabata, dinitolmida, nikarbazina in menadiona (vitamin K3);
Whereas the fifth Commission Directive 74/203/EEC of 25 March 1974 establishing Community methods of analysis for the official control of feedingstuffs(8), as last amended by Directive 81/680/EEC(9), sets out methods for analysis for the determination of starch and starch degradation products of high molecular weight in feedingstuffs containing beet cossettes, beet pulp, dried beet tops or leaves, potato pulp, dried yeasts, products rich in inulin or greaves, amprolium, ethopabate, dinitolmide, nicarbazin and menadione (vitamin K3);
