At the request of the competent authority of the Member State in which the application is submitted, the competent authority of the other Member State shall transmit within a period of one month, a confirmation that the reference medicinal product is or has been authorised together with the full composition of the reference product and if necessary other relevant documentation.

In order that the manner of introduction of classical swine fever virus into an infected holding and the length of time elapsed since its introduction may be established, when pigs are killed on a holding following confirmation of an outbreak in accordance with Article 5(1)(a) of Directive 2001/89/EC, blood samples for serological tests must be taken at random from the pigs when they are killed.

By way of derogation from article 12.2 of Regulation (EC) No 999/2001, after a twelve months period has elapsed following the confirmation of a first scrapie case in a holding, the forwarding of brain and other tissues for laboratory examination of cases suspected after that period may be limited to a random annual sample of 10 % of ovine and caprine animals suspected of being infected with a TSE.

The authorisation to operate a regulated market should extend to all activities which are directly related to the display, processing, execution, confirmation and reporting of orders from the point at which such orders are received by the regulated market to the point at which they are transmitted for subsequent finalisation, and to activities related to the admission of financial instruments to trading.

(4) In the case referred to in item 3 of the fifth paragraph of Article 80 of this Act, the Insurance Supervision Agency may only grant an authorisation to transfer insurance contracts if the competent supervisory authority of the Member State in question issues a confirmation according to which the Member State insurance undertaking would also achieve minimum capital adequacy after the insurance contracts have been transferred.

Such confirmation is necessary to permit a detailed examination of the dossier and to allow Member States to grant provisional authorisation for plant protection products containing the active substance concerned while complying with the conditions laid down in Article 8(1) of the Directive and, in particular, the condition relating to the detailed assessment of the active substance and the plant protection product in the light of the requirements laid down by the Directive.

Such confirmation is necessary in order to pursue the detailed examination of the dossier as well as in order to open to Member States the possibility of granting provisional authorisation for plant-protection products containing this active substance in due respect of the conditions laid down in Article 8(1) of the Directive, and in particular the condition to make a detailed assessment of the active substances and the plant-protection products with regard to the requirements of the Directive.

Where the registration certificate consists of Parts I and II, and Part II is missing, the competent authorities in the Member State where the new registration has been requested may decide, in exceptional cases, to re-register the vehicle, but only after having obtained confirmation, in writing or by electronic means, from the competent authorities in the Member State where the vehicle was previously registered, that the applicant is entitled to re-register the vehicle in another Member State.

Until the entry into force of the measures to be taken by Member States in pursuance of the Council Directive of 15 October 19681 and where, under the measures taken by the Member States in pursuance of the Council Directive of 25 March 19642 the work permit provided for in Article 22 of Regulation No 38/64/EEC is necessary to determine the period of validity and extension of the residence permit, written confirmation of engagement from the employer or a certificate of employment stating the period of employment may be substituted for such work permit.
