Ta konvencija začne veljati šestdeseti dan po dnevu deponiranja petintridesete listine o ratifikaciji, sprejetju, odobritvi ali pristopu pri depozitarju pod pogojem, da se pri tem najmanj pet držav izreče za države proizvajalke po drugem odstavku tega člena.

For any country or regional economic integration organization that becomes a Contracting Party to the Agreement after its entry into force, this Agreement shall enter into force sixty (60) days after the date that such country or regional economic integration organization deposits its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

(7) [Common Provisions] (a) A State or an intergovernmental organization may make a declaration under paragraphs (1) to (6) only if, at the time of depositing its instrument of ratification of, or accession to, this Treaty, the continued application of its law would, without such a declaration, be contrary to the relevant provisions of this Treaty.
