EEC VERIFICATION CERTIFICATE

FOR THE PURPOSE OF EEC VERIFICATION, THE CYLINDER MANUFACTURER SHALL: 5.1.1. provide the inspection body with the EEC pattern approval certificate;

issue the EEC verification certificate on the lines of the specimen set out in Annex III.

If the results of the checks are satisfactory, the inspection body shall issue an EEC verification certificate conforming to the model given in Annex IV.

If the results of the checks are satisfactory, the inspection body shall issue an EEC verification certificate conforming to the model contained in Annex V.

At the verification of a consignment of products referred to in Article 1 of Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91, the original certificate of inspection shall be endorsed by the relevant Member State's authorities in box 17 and returned to the person who submitted the certificate.

shall mean the verification by the relevant Member States' authorities of the certificate of inspection to satisfy Article 4(2), and, where these authorities consider appropriate, of the products in relation to the requirements of Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91;

Whereas several Community Directives set out general provisions which concern in particular procedures for EEC approval, EEC type examination, EEC verification and other EEC certifications;

The EEC pattern approval certificate may provide for the addition of special fixed or detachable devices to permit automatic verification of the meter.

The EEC pattern approval certificate may provide for the possibility of the accuracy test being carried out with cold water during initial verification.

"verification of the consignment" shall mean the verification by the relevant Member States' authorities of the certificate of inspection to satisfy Article 4(2), and, where these authorities consider appropriate, of the products in relation to the requirements of Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91;

Each Member State shall notify the other Member States and the Commission of the services, agencies and institutes which are duly authorized to carry out the examinations specified in this Directive and in the separate directives, to issue the EEC pattern approval certificates and to affix the EEC initial verification marks."

The tasks of the administration issuing the EEC pattern approval certificate and of the inspection body carrying out the verification of the vessel shall be confined to examinations carried out in accordance with the requirements of the relevant separate Directives, and to the operations assigned to them by this Directive.

Where it has been established, in accordance with the procedure laid down in Regulation (EEC) No 2454/93 for the purpose of the subsequent verification of certificates of origin Form A and of invoice declarations, that the tariff preferences referred to in Article 8(1) do not apply to products from certain producers or exporters, the customs authorities of the Community shall inform the Commission, which shall immediately publish a notification in the Official Journal of the European Communities.

Furthermore, a certificate drawn up by the laboratory or laboratories where the experiments were conducted to the effect that the tests were carried out in accordance with the principles of good laboratory practices pursuant to Council Directive 87/18/EEC, on the harmonization of laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to the application of the principles of good laboratory practice and the verification of their applications for tests on chemical substances (1), must be attached to the report.

In the case of section 5, upon completing the manufacture of each batch of devices referred to in Article 1(4a), and in the case of verification under section 6, the manufacturer shall inform the notified body of the release of this batch of devices and send to it the official certificate concerning the release of the batch of human blood derivative used in the device issued by a State laboratory or a laboratory designated for that purpose by a Member State in accordance with Article 4(3) of Directive 89/381/EEC."

Where a second communication is sent for the purpose of the subsequent verification of certificates of origin Form A and of invoice declarations in accordance with Regulation (EEC) No 2454/93, concerning the tariff preferences referred to in Article 8(1), the customs authorities in the Community shall inform the Commission, which shall immediately publish a notification in the Official Journal of the European Communities, announcing that reasonable doubt exists in respect of certain products, producers or exporters, and stating those.
