For the purpose of facilitating the review of activities in the Telecommunication Standardization Sector, measures should be taken to foster cooperation and coordination with other organizations concerned with telecommunication standardization and with the Radiocommunication Sector and the Telecommunication Development Sector.
Za olajšanje pregledovanja dejavnosti v sektorju za standardizacijo telekomunikacij je treba sprejeti ukrepe za spodbujanje sodelovanja in usklajevanja z drugimi organizacijami, ki se ukvarjajo s standardizacijo telekomunikacij, in s sektorjema za radiokomunikacije in za razvoj telekomunikacij.

The functions of the Telecommunication Standardization Sector shall be,bearing in mind the particular concerns of the developing countries, to fulfil the purposes of the Union relating to telecommunication standardization, as stated in Article 1 of this Constitution, by studying technical, operating and tariff questions and adopting recommendations on them with a view to standardizing telecommunications on a worldwide basis.

A Member State or an authorized entity or organization intending to send a delegation or representatives to a telecommunication standardizationassembly, a telecommunication development conference or a radiocommunication assembly shall so inform the Director of the Bureau of the Sector concerned, indicating the names and functions of the members of the delegation or of the representatives.
