(1) Pending conclusion of the procedure for ratification and entry into force of the Euro-Mediterranean Agreement establishing an Association between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and Egypt, of the other, signed on 25 June 2001, an agreement in the form of an Exchange of Letters has been concluded regarding the provisional application of the trade provisions set out in the Euro-Mediterranean Association Agreement with Egypt, hereafter referred to as "the Agreement", which enters into force on 1 January 2004. The Council has approved the Agreement by its Decision of 19 December 2003 concerning the provisional application of the trade provisions and the accompanying measures of the Euro-Mediterranean Agreement establishing an Association between the European Community and its Member States, of the one part, and Egypt, of the other fn.
(1) Do zaključka postopka ratifikacije in začetka veljavnosti Evro-mediteranskega sporazuma o pridružitvi med Evropsko skupnostjo in njenimi državami članicami na eni strani in Egiptom na drugi strani, podpisanim 25. junija 2001, je bil sklenjen Sporazum v obliki izmenjave pisem v zvezi z začasno uporabo trgovinskih določb Evro-mediteranskega sporazuma o pridružitvi z Egiptom, v nadaljnjem besedilu ��Sporazum«, ki začne veljati 1. januarja 2004. Svet je Sporazum odobril s Sklepom z dne 19. decembra 2003 o začasni uporabi trgovinskih določb in spremljevalnih ukrepov Evro-mediteranskega sporazuma o pridružitvi med Evropsko skupnostjo in njenimi državami članicami na eni strani in Egiptom na drugi strani fn.
