Safer and environmentally friendly production methods and technologies and healthier foodstuffs: The objective is to develop lower input farming systems (agriculture and aquaculture) based on systems such as integrated production, lower-input methods including organic agriculture and the use of plant and animal sciences and biotechnologies and improved transformation processes aimed at producing safer healthier nutritious, functional and varied foodstuffs, and animal feed, responding to consumer expectations, and improving the quality of food and feed through innovative technologies.
Varnejše in okolju prijaznejše proizvodne metode in tehnologije ter bolj zdrava živila: Cilj je razviti sisteme kmetovanja z manjšim vnosom (kmetijstvo, ribogojstvo), ki temeljijo na sistemih, kot so integrirana pridelava, metode manjših vnosov, vključno z ekološkim kmetovanjem in uporabo znanosti o živalih in rastlinah ter biotehnologij in izboljšanih procesov preoblikovanja, s ciljem pridelave bolj varnih, zdravih, hranilnih, funkcionalnih in raznovrstnih živil ter živalske krme, ki izpolnjuje pričakovanja potrošnika, in izboljšanje kakovosti živil in živalske krme s pomočjo inovativnih tehnologij.
