Pursuant to the objectives of this Convention and paragraph 6, the Conference of the Parties shall at its first meeting adopt appropriate guidance to be provided to the mechanism and shall agree with the entity or entities participating in the financial mechanism upon arrangements to give effect thereto.
V skladu s cilji te konvencije in šestim odstavkom Konferenca pogodbenic na svojem prvem zasedanju sprejme ustrezna navodila, potrebna za mehanizem, in se dogovori s subjektom ali subjekti, ki sodelujejo v finančnem mehanizmu, o ureditvah in ukrepih za njegovo izvajanje.

The guidance to the financial mechanism of the Convention in relevant decisions of the Conference of the Parties, including those agreed before the adoption of this Protocol, shall apply, mutatis mutandis, to the provisions of this Article.

The guidance to the entity or entities entrusted with the operation of the financial mechanism of the Convention in relevant decisions of the Conference of the Parties, including those agreed before the adoption of this Protocol, shall apply mutatis mutandis to the provisions of this paragraph.
Navodila subjektu ali subjektom, ki jim je z ustreznimi sklepi Konference pogodbenic, vključno s tistimi, ki so bili sprejeti pred sprejetjem tega protokola, zaupano izvajanje finančnega mehanizma konvencije, se smiselno uporabljajo tudi za določbe tega odstavka.

The Conference of the Parties shall review, not later than its second meeting and thereafter on a regular basis, the effectiveness of the mechanism established under this Article, its ability to address the changing needs of the developing country Parties and Parties with economies in transition, the criteria and guidance referred to in paragraph 7, the level of funding as well as the effectiveness of the performance of the institutional entities entrusted to operate the financial mechanism.
Konferenca pogodbenic prouči najpozneje na svojem drugem zasedanju, pozneje pa redno, učinkovitost mehanizma, oblikovanega po določbah tega člena, sposobnost mehanizma za obravnavo spreminjajočih se potreb držav pogodbenic v razvoju in pogodbenic z gospodarstvi v prehodu, za obravnavo meril in navodil iz sedmega odstavka, raven financiranja ter učinkovitost delovne uspešnosti institucionalnih subjektov, ki so pooblaščeni za upravljanje finančnega mehanizma.

Regarding the capacity-building referred to in Article 22 of this Protocol, the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to this Protocol, in providing guidance with respect to the financial mechanism referred to in paragraph 2 above, for consideration by the Conference of the Parties, shall take into account the need for financial resources by developing country Parties, in particular the least developed and the small island developing States among them.
V zvezi s kadrovsko in institucionalno krepitvijo iz 22. člena Konferenca pogodbenic kot zasedanje pogodbenic tega protokola pri zagotavljanju smernic glede finančnega mehanizma iz drugega odstavka za obravnavo na Konferenci pogodbenic upošteva potrebo pogodbenic držav v razvoju, zlasti najmanj razvitih in majhnih otoških držav, po finančnih sredstvih.
