Improving public knowledge on the relationship between diet and health, energy intake and output, on diets that lower risk of chronic diseases, and on healthy choices of food items, is a prerequisite for the success of any nutrition policy, whether at national or Community level.
Izboljšanje vedenja javnosti o odnosu med prehranjevanjem in zdravjem, vnosom in porabo energije, o prehrani, ki zmanjšuje tveganje za kronične bolezni, in o zdravi izbiri hrane, je predpogoj za uspeh v vsaki prehranjevalni politiki, pa naj bo to na nacionalni ravni ali ravni Skupnosti.
