(1) Unija oblikuje skupno politiko priseljevanja, s katero v vseh fazah zagotovi učinkovito upravljanje migracijskega dotoka, pravično obravnavo državljanov tretjih držav, ki zakonito prebivajo v državi članici in preprečevanje nezakonitega priseljevanja in trgovine z ljudmi ter okrepljene ukrepe za boj proti temu.

In this Regulation "immigration liaison officer" means a representative of one of the Member States, posted abroad by the immigration service or other competent authorities in order to establish and maintain contacts with the authorities of the host country with a view to contributing to the prevention and combating of illegal immigration, the return of illegal immigrants and the management of legal migration.
V tej uredbi "uradnik za zvezo za priseljevanje" pomeni predstavnika ene od držav članic, ki ga na delo v tujino napoti urad za priseljevanje ali drugi pristojni urad, da bi vzpostavil in ohranjal stike z organi države članice gostiteljice z namenom prispevati k preprečevanju in boju proti nezakonitemu priseljevanju, k vrnitvi nezakonitih priseljencev in k upravljanju zakonitega priseljevanja.

Development of corporate applications will concentrate on the completion of phase III of the Meetings Management System (end of March), the continuing update of the corporate product database and tracking system SIAMED to include provisions of the new medicines legislation, and its migration to a different technical platform, and further work on a number of smaller systems such as the contracts database.
