If a building permit is amended, its period of validity shall remain unchanged upon the issue of the ruling on the amendment.

(4) Če investitor, ki mu je bilo izdano gradbeno dovoljenje, pred začetkom gradnje ali med gradnjo prenese pravico graditi na drugo osebo, se sme na zahtevo te osebe gradbeno dovoljenje spremeniti. Novi investitor mora zahtevi za spremembo predložiti dokazilo o pravici graditi. V tem primeru se gradbeno dovoljenje spremeni po skrajšanem postopku in brez zaslišanja strank.
If prior to commencing construction or during construction an investor that was issued a building permit transfers the right to build to another person, the building permit may be amended at the request of such person. The new investor must produce proof of the right to build for the request for amendment. In such a case the building permit shall be amended in a fast-track procedure without the parties being heard.

Če ni s posebnimi predpisi določeno drugače, mora pristojni upravni organ za gradbene zadeve projekt za pridobitev gradbenega dovoljenja, na podlagi katerega je izdal gradbeno dovoljenje oziroma na podlagi katerega je bilo gradbeno dovoljenje spremenjeno ter projekt izvedenih del, na podlagi katerega je izdal uporabno dovoljenje, hraniti deset let po njegovi izdaji.
Unless stipulated otherwise by separate regulations, the relevant administrative body for construction matters must keep safe the project for acquiring the building permit based on which a building permit was issued or based on which a building permit was amended, and the project of works executed based on which a permit of use was issued for ten years after the issue thereof.

Non-compliant construction means that a building permit was issued for construction or works for which a building permit is prescribed but that such construction or works are or were carried out in contravention of the conditions stipulated by the building permit, or that a works for which a building permit was issued is being used in contravention of the conditions stipulated thereby.

(1) Če se pravnomočno gradbeno dovoljenje odpravi zaradi odprave izvedbenega prostorskega akta v postopku za presojo ustavnosti in zakonitosti pred ustavnim sodiščem in je to posledica protipravnega ravnanja občine oziroma države, če je prostorski akt sprejel njen organ, ima investitor pravico do povrnitve navadne škode in izgubljenega dobička za povzročeno škodo, ki mu je nastala zaradi zaupanja v pravnomočno gradbeno dovoljenje.
If a final building permit is abrogated because of the abrogation of the implementing planning document in proceedings to determine constitutionality and legitimacy before the constitutional court and this is a consequence of unlawful action by the municipality or by the state, if the spatial planning document was adopted by a body thereof, the investor shall have the right to the reimbursement of ordinary damages and lost profit for the damage incurred thereby because of the trust in the final building permit.

(2) Zaznamba iz prejšnjega odstavka se izbriše iz zemljiške knjige na predlog pristojnega gradbenega inšpektorja, lahko pa tudi na predlog inšpekcijskega zavezanca, če predlogu priloži potrdilo pristojnega gradbenega inšpektorja o izvršeni odločbi ali pravnomočno gradbeno dovoljenje.

(2) V primeru, da se v obnovljenem postopku za izdajo gradbenega dovoljenja oziroma z uporabo drugih izrednih pravnih sredstev pravnomočno gradbeno dovoljenje v celoti ali delno odpravi oziroma izreče za nično in je treba objekt v celoti ali delno odstraniti in je to posledica protipravnega ravnanja organa, ki je takšno dovoljenje izdal, ima investitor pravico do povrnitve navadne škode in izgubljenega dobička za povzročeno škodo, ki mu je nastala zaradi zaupanja v pravnomočno gradbeno dovoljenje.
If, during a repeat procedure for the issue of a building permit or via the use of other extraordinary legal remedies, a final building permit is wholly or partly abrogated or pronounced as null and void and the works must be wholly or partly removed, and this is a consequence of unlawful action by the body that issued the permit, the investor shall have the right to the reimbursement of ordinary damages and lost profit for the damage incurred thereby because of the trust in the final building permit.

(2) Pristojni upravni organ za gradbene zadeve podaljša veljavnost gradbenega dovoljenja z odločbo, ki jo izda v skrajšanem postopku in brez zaslišanja strank. Gradbeno dovoljenje se lahko podaljša, če ni v nasprotju z izvedbenim prostorskim aktom, ki velja v času izdaje te odločbe.
(2) The relevant administrative body for construction matters shall extend the validity of a building permit via a ruling issued in a fast-track procedure without the parties being heard. A building permit may be extended if it does not contravene the implementing planning document valid at the time of issue of the ruling.

(2) Če se po izdaji pravnomočnega gradbenega dovoljenja projekt za izvedbo tako spremeni, da pomeni to za objekt, ki se gradi oziroma rekonstruira, spremembo pogojev, določenih z gradbenim dovoljenjem in elementov, ki lahko vplivajo na zdravstvene pogoje, okolje, varnost objekta ali spremembo predpisanih bistvenih zahtev, je investitor dolžan vložiti zahtevo za spremembo gradbenega dovoljenja. V tem primeru se gradbeno dovoljenje lahko spremeni samo po enakem postopku, kot je bilo to dovoljenje izdano. Nova odločba, ki deloma nadomesti gradbeno dovoljenje, se omeji na predlagane spremembe, če zaradi predlaganih sprememb, ki vplivajo na lokacijske pogoje, ni potrebno izdati novega gradbenega dovoljenja.
If, after the issue of a final building permit, the project for execution is altered in a way that for the works being constructed or reconstructed entails a change in the conditions stipulated by the building permit and in elements that could affect health conditions, the environment or the safety of the works or a change in the prescribed essential requirements, the investor shall be obliged to lodge a request for the amendment of the building permit. In such a case the building permit may only be amended according to the same procedure by which it was issued.
