The presentation to the competent authority of the original of the conforming authenticity certificate before expiry of the period of validity of the import licence concerned shall constitute a main requirement within the meaning of Article 20 of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2220/85 (*) for the security referred to in the second subparagraph.

Presenting an aid certificate shall be tantamount to applying for the aid.

the presentation of a certificate of origin issued by the competent national authorities of the country of origin, in accordance with Articles 55 to 65 of Regulation (EEC) No 2454/93;

No certificate or analysis report need be presented for products originating in and coming from third countries in labelled containers of not more than five litres fitted with a non-reusable closing device where the total quantity transported, whether or not made up of separate consignments, does not exceed 100 litres.

In particular, the furnishing of any certificate concerning the change may not be required.

(i) the furnishing of any certificate of, or extract from, a register of commerce;

(i) subject to paragraph (1)(c), the furnishing of any certificate of, or extract from, a register of commerce;

If the carrier carries out the instructions of the consignor for the disposition of the cargo without requiring the production of the part of the air waybill or the cargo receipt delivered to the latter, the carrier will be liable, without prejudice to its right of recovery from the consignor, for any damage which may be caused thereby to any person who is lawfully in possession of that part of the air waybill or the cargo receipt.

Regulation (EEC) No 3305/82 may therefore be repealed since the presentation of the certificate referred to in Article 1 thereof is no longer required.

Procedures for monitoring absence and for the submission of medical certificates should be clarified.

The criteria for determining origin currently in force in the Community should therefore be applied, and in order to ensure that the tariff quotas are administered efficiently, presentation of a certificate of origin at the Community frontier should be required for imports of the product concerned except where imports of the product concerned are covered by a proof of origin issued or made out in accordance with the relevant rules established in order to qualify for preferential tariff measures.

Commission Regulation (EC) No 1520/2000 of 13 July 2000 laying down common detailed rules for the application of the system of granting export refunds on certain agricultural products exported in the form of goods not covered by Annex I to the Treaty and the criteria for fixing the amount of such refunds(3), as last amended by Regulation (EC) No 543/2004(4), provides that, other than for certain exemptions, the granting of export refunds on goods is conditional on production of a refund certificate.

With a view to re-registering a vehicle previously registered in another Member State, the competent authorities shall require the submission of Part I of the previous registration certificate in every case and the submission of Part II if it was issued.

Time limit for submission of movement certificate A.RL. 1

In order to ensure the effective respect and monitoring of the undertakings, when the request for release for free circulation pursuant to the undertaking is presented to the relevant customs authority, exemption from the duty should be conditional upon presentation of a valid, original production certificate containing the information listed in the Annex to this Regulation.

Should they require the production of certificates drawn up by independent bodies attesting the compliance of the economic operator with certain quality assurance standards, contracting authorities shall refer to quality assurance systems based on the relevant European standards series certified by bodies conforming to the European standards series concerning certification.

To that end, the detailed rules for submission of the applications and the information which must appear on the applications and licences, by way of derogation from Article 8 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1291/2000 of 9 June 2000 laying down common detailed rules for the application of the system of import and export licences and advance fixing certificates for agricultural products(7), as last amended by Regulation (EC) No 325/2003(8), should be laid down.

With regard to Lloyd's, the publication of the balance sheet and the profit and loss account shall be replaced by the compulsory presentation of annual trading accounts covering the insurance operations, and accompanied by an affidavit certifying that auditors'certificates have been supplied in respect of each insurer and showing that the responsibilities incurred as a result of these operations are wholly covered by the assets.

Where they request the production of certificates drawn up by independent bodies attesting the compliance of the economic operator with certain quality assurance standards, contracting entities shall refer to quality assurance systems based on the relevant European standards series certified by bodies conforming to the European standards series concerning certification.

In such cases, should the contracting entities require the production of certificates drawn up by independent bodies attesting the compliance of the economic operator with certain environmental management standards, they shall refer to the EMAS or to environmental management standards based on the relevant European or international standards certified by bodies conforming to Community law or the relevant European or international standards concerning certification.

Should contracting authorities, in the cases referred to in Article 48(2)(f), require the production of certificates drawn up by independent bodies attesting the compliance of the economic operator with certain environmental management standards, they shall refer to the Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) or to environmental management standards based on the relevant European or international standards certified by bodies conforming to Community law or the relevant European or international standards concerning certification.

Submission of certificates

The submission of the sales note listing all data required under this Article shall be the responsibility of the buyer.

Submission of Export Certificates EXP

The re-export of any specimen of a species included in Appendix I shall require the prior grant and presentation of a re-export certificate.

The re-export of any specimen of a species included in Appendix II shall require the prior grant and presentation of a re-export certificate.

Admission to the benefit of this tariff quota shall be subject to the presentation of an A.TR movement certificate in accordance with Decision No 1/2001 of the EC-Turkey Customs Cooperation Committee.

Whereas the Committee on Origin has examined, in accordance with the procedure laid down in the above mentioned Regulation, whether it is desirable to require the production of a certificate in respect of the products and the supplying countries concerned;

The Agreement provides in paragraph 6 that the tariff concessions will be subject to the presentation of a certificate issued by a mutually recognised official body appearing on lists drawn up jointly to the effect that the wine in question complies withpoint 5(b) of the Agreement.

Goods sent as small packages to private persons or forming part of travellers' personal luggage shall be admitted as originating products without requiring the production of a movement certificate EUR 1 or the completion of a form EUR 2, provided that such goods are not imported by way of trade and have been declared as meeting the conditions required for the application of these provisions, and where there is no doubt as to the veracity of such declaration.

The Community and Switzerland shall admit goods sent as small packages to private persons or forming part of travellers' personal luggage, as originating products benefiting from the Agreement without requiring the production of a movement certificate provided that such goods are not imported by way of trade and have been declared as meeting the conditions required for the application of these provisions, and where there is no doubt as to the veracity of such declaration.

However, by way of derogation from point (b), Member States may authorize the presentation of a single certificate for a batch of animals.

The Member States and the Lebanese Republic shall, without requiring the production of a movement certificate A.RL.l or the completion of form A.RL.2, apply the provisions of the Agreement to goods imported in small packets addressed to individuals or contained in the personal luggage of travellers, if these goods serve no commercial purpose and they are declared to comply with the conditions required for the application of these provisions and the accuracy of this declaration is not in doubt.

This presentation shall take place not later than 30 June of the year following that in which the goods covered by the certificate were shipped.
