Each exported plant consignment which is subject to phytosanitary inspection must be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate, issued by a body of the plant quarantine and protection service, confirming that this consignment does not contain pests which are quarantine pests in the importing state.

e) Any inspection or other phytosanitary procedure required by the plant protection organization of a contracting party for a consignment of plants, plant products or other regulated articles offered for importation, shall take place as promptly as possible with due regard to their perishability.

require additional information on documents accompanying consignments of wine products produced on their territory where such information is necessary for checks;

Member States shall ensure that their customs authorities or other competent official agents request and examine the documentation of each shipment of Dissostichus spp. imported into or exported from their territory in order to verify that it includes the export-validated or re- export-validated catch document or the documents corresponding to the total quantity of Dissostichus spp. contained in the shipment.

I, the undersigned person responsible for the load detailed above, certify that to the best of my knowledge and belief the statements made in section I of this document are true and complete and I agree to comply with the legal requirements of directive 97/78/EC, including payment for veterinary checks, for repossession of any consignment rejected after transit across the EU to a third country (Article 11.1.c). or costs of destruction if necessary.

the plants, plant products or other objects in the consignment or lot came from a third country for which in or under comprehensive international phytos-anitary agreements based on the principle of reciprocal treatment between the Community and a third country, provision for a reduced frequency of identity and plant health checks is mentioned, unless there is a serious reason to believe that the requirements laid down in this Directive are not complied with.

The standard fee as specified in Annex Villa is without prejudice to extra charges to cover additional costs incurred in special activities relating to the checks, such as exceptional travelling by inspectors or waiting periods of inspectors due to delays in the arrival of consignments out of schedule, checks carried out outside normal working hours, supplementary checks or laboratory testing required in addition to those provided for in Article 13 for confirmation of conclusions drawn from the checks, special phytosanitary measures as required under Community acts based on Articles 15 or 16, measures taken pursuant to Article 13c(7), or the translation of required documents.

equipment (or access to equipment) capable of weighing consignments subject to controls;

Whereas it is necessary to lay down the action to be taken if a check reveals an irregularity in a consignment, where the products do not satisfy the requirements of this Regulation;

"verification of the consignment" shall mean the verification by the relevant Member States' authorities of the certificate of inspection to satisfy Article 4(2), and, where these authorities consider appropriate, of the products in relation to the requirements of Regulation (EEC) No 2092/91;

After completion of the required veterinary checks the official veterinarian shall issue a certificate for the consignment of products concerned certifying the results of the checks in accordance with the model provided in Annex B to Commission Decision 93/13/EEC laying down the procedures for veterinary checks at Community border inspection posts on products from third countries (10), adapted where appropriate in accordance with paragraph 4.

Without prejudice to the rights of the Member States to define particular requirements of services of general interest, that task consists primarily in the provision and the maintenance of a universal public postal service, guaranteeing at affordable, cost-effective and transparent tariffs nationwide access to the public postal network within a reasonable distance and during adequate opening hours, including the clearance of postal items from accessible postal boxes or collection points throughout the territory and the timely delivery of such items to the address indicated, as well as associated services entrusted by measures of a regulatory nature to those operators for universal delivery at a specified quality.
