Letala in plovila, ki niso redna linijska komercialna letala in jih Združene države Amerike uporabljajo za dejavnosti v skladu s tem sporazumom, so oproščena carinskih dajatev kot tudi pristajalnih taks, navigacijskih pristojbin, pristaniških taks, pristojbin in drugih dajatev, ki jih zahteva Republika Slovenija ali njene agencije, organi v sestavi ali telesa.
Aircraft and vessels, which are not regularly scheduled commercial airplanes and which are used by the United States of America for activities in accordance with this Agreement, shall be free from customs duties, as well as from landing fees, navigation charges, port duties, levies, and any other charges claimed by the Republic of Slovenia, or any of its agencies, sub-departments or bodies.

11.1 Ta sporazum in njegove priloge, ki so sestavni deli tega sporazuma, začnejo veljati trideseti (30) dan od dneva, ko je najmanj pet (5) držav in/ali regionalnih organizacij gospodarskega povezovanja dobilo status pogodbenic tega sporazuma na podlagi 9. člena. Med temi petimi (5) pogodbenicami tega sporazuma morajo biti Evropska skupnost, Japonska in Združene države Amerike.
This Agreement and its Annexes, which constitute integral parts of the Agreement, shall enter into force on the thirtieth (30) day following the date on which a minimum of five (5) countries and/or regional economic integration organizations have become Contracting Parties pursuant to Article 9. This minimum of five (5) must include the European Community, Japan, and the United States of America.
