'Table olives' means sound fruit of specific varieties of the cultivated olive-tree, harvested at the proper stage of ripeness and of such quality that, in their different categories and when processed in accordance with the trade preparations and styles laid down in the recommended qualitative standards, they produce an edible product that keeps well.
