Definicija: The Committee delivers its opinion on a draft of the measures relating to financial instrument for the environment. The general objective of LIFE is to contribute to the development and implementation of Community environmental policy and legislation by financing: (a) priority environmental actions in the Community; (b) (i) technical assistance actions with third countries from the Mediterranean region or bordering on the Baltic Sea; ii) in exceptional circumstances, actions concerning regional or global environmental problems provided for in international agreements.
