Definicija: An enterprise is considered as "medium-sized" if it has more then 50 and less than 250 employees and an annual turnover not exceeding 40 million ECU or an annual balance-sheet total of no more than 27 million ECU. To be defined as "small", an enterprise must have less than 50 employees and an anuual turnover not exceeding 7 million ECU or an annual balance-sheet total not exceeding 5 million ECU. As "very small" will be considered enterprises having less than 10 employees.
