Definicija: Overbooking of airplane seats is a recurrent problem in Europe. Carriers sell more tickets than there are seats on the plane, counting on a certain percentage of no-shows. In the event of overbooking, people are entitled to immediate financial compensation, in the form of travel vouchers or cash. Apart from paying this compensation, the company must reroute you to your destination on the next available flight.
