Definicija: The Committee delivers its opinion on a draft of measures aimed at the establishment and implementation of environmental policies, programmes and management systems by companies, in relation to their sites; the systematic, objective and periodic evaluation of the performance of such elements; the provision of information of environmental performance to the public.

Opomba: e) environmental management system shall mean that part of the overall management system which includes the organizational structure, responsibilities practices, procedures, processes and resources for determining and implementing the environmental policy;
(f) environmental audit shall mean a management tool comprising a systematic, documented, periodic and objective evaluation of the performance of the organization, management system and processes designed to protect the environment.
