Definicija: A Customs Cooperation Committee is responsible for administrative cooperation in the interests of a correct and uniform implementation of the Protocol concerning the definition of the concept of originating products and on methods of administrative cooperation, and for carrying out any other function in relation to customs matters with which it is entrusted. 2. The Committee is composed, on the one hand, of customs experts of the Member States and of officials of the department of the Commission of the European Communities who are responsible for customs questions, and, on the other hand, of customs experts from Slovenia.

Definicija: The Committee may examine any matter relating to the application of the Regulation applying a four-year scheme of generalized tariff preferences (1995 to 1998) in respect of certain industrial products originating in developing countries. On the basis of an annual report from the Commission, it shall examine the extent to which the principle of neutrality of the effects of this scheme has been observed and any steps being considered by the Commission, to ensure proper observance thereof. It shall also examine, on the basis of an annual report from the Commission, the effects of the special arrangements with regard to drugs, and, if progress is insufficient, any measures which the Commission is considering taking to suspend in whole or in part the application of Article 3, i.e. the suspension of Common Customs Tariff duties on certain products for the countries concerned.
